• Seen in HD 26 - Blu-ray box sets, HBO's The Pacific, BBC's Life

Adam was under the weather this week, so we were lucky enough to have Matt Paprocki of www.doblu.com pinch-hit as co-host for the show. Thanks again for helping out on short notice, Matt. We've said before on the show any good home theater needs to pay as much attention to audio as it does to video. Pioneer has a pair of new ...

  • Re: Guide download issues
Did you try repairing the system files? Run this from an elevated command prompt. Sfc /scannow I post this a lot but it helps with a lot of problems.
I can report that the method above worked for me. Ran the command, reboot, bam...full guide data. Thank you!
  • Re: Guide download issues

Well, it seems odd to say this but that kind of makes me feel better. I mean, I don't want to have to reinstall again but if I'm not the only one who had this issue today maybe it's something someone is aware of and can fix. Let me know if you hear anything.
  • Guide download issues

Yes, this has been posted in other places here but none of those solutions have worked for me (or they've been so in depth that I think a reinstall would be easier) When I try to download guide data or setup my TV signal I get a message saying that Media Center couldn't download the guide data due to previous errors and to check the ...

Some fairly big news this week, as word broke shortly before recording the show that Walmart had bought online movie service Vudu in what's being reported as a $100 million deal. This could either be a good thing for Vudu, giving the young company more capital behind it to expand and give Netflix a run for its money, or it could go the way ...
